Had the same question when I started playing! All you gotta do is hold down the button you'd use to bring up your Pip-Boy. Works like a charm every time, makes you wonder what else you might be missing out on by not pressing buttons longer, huh?

Oh, that's an easy one! Just press and hold the 'Pip-Boy' button. On PC, it's usually the 'Tab' key. For Xbox users, you're looking at the 'B' button, and PlayStation folks, it's the 'Circle' button. Hold it for a second or two, and your headlamp should flick on, lighting up all those dark corners of the Commonwealth.

Just hold down the Pip-Boy button, mate. It's not rocket science. :)

Doesn't everyone just mash buttons till it happens? Just me? Okay, but seriously, hold the Pip-Boy button. It's the 'Tab' key on PC, 'B' on Xbox, or 'Circle' on PlayStation.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
