You can turn on your Roku by using the Roku mobile app as a remote control! Just download it on your phone, connect to the same WiFi as your Roku, and voila! Instant virtual remote.
Why not just get a universal remote? They work with practically everything, including Roku!
As a long-time Roku user, I simply use my TV's remote to power on my Roku TV. Works like a charm every time!
