Turning ore into scrap in Fallout 76 is pretty straightforward! First, you've gotta gather some ore from mining locations around the map. Then, head over to a chemistry station. Once you're there, you can smelt your ores into scrap materials like steel, lead, etc., under the 'Smelting' tab. Just make sure you've got enough Acid because you'll need it to break down the ores. Happy crafting!

Easiest thing ever. Find ore, go to chemistry station, use acid, get scrap. Simple as pie.

Honestly, just buy the scrap if you can. Mining for ore and then having to smelt it takes too much time, and acid isn't always easy to come by. Not worth the hassle if you ask me.
