On most versions of Tetris, try using the 'A' button on your console controller or the 'Z' key on your keyboard to rotate pieces counterclockwise.

Use the left rotation button (usually the 'A' key on PC, 'L' button on Nintendo, or equivalent) to turn pieces counterclockwise.
