So, you wanna break free from those FPS chains in Fallout 4? Here's a quick fix. Dive into your Fallout4Prefs.ini file located in your Documents\My Games\Fallout4 folder. Find the line that says 'iPresentInterval=1' and change that 1 to a 0. This basically tells the game, 'Hey, don't cap my FPS!' But remember, Fallout 4 ties its physics to framerate, so things might get a bit... wacky.

Just cap it at 60, trust me. Anything above and the game turns into a physics experiment gone wrong. You haven't seen chaos till you've seen a Deathclaw get flung into the stratosphere because of high FPS.

Heads up, if you uncap FPS in Fallout 4, you might start seeing some weird physics glitches. Stuff flying all over the place because the game's physics engine goes bonkers above 60 FPS. I uncapped mine and watched a car launch itself into orbit. Fun, but maybe not what you're looking for.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
