Honestly, just don't. Undervolting can lead to instability and unexpected shutdowns. If you're not comfortable tweaking hardware settings and potentially dealing with the consequences, it might not be worth the risk. Enjoy the Steam Deck as Valve intended.

I undervolted my Steam Deck and it's been amazing! Found a great guide on a popular gaming forum. Look for guides that walk you through the TDP adjustments in the SteamOS settings. Key is to go slow and monitor the performance. If a game starts crashing, you went too far. It's a bit of trial and error but totally worth it for the cooler operation and longer battery life.

Undervolting your Steam Deck can help you get better battery life and cooler temps, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. The easiest way to do this is by using the SteamOS pre-installed software. You'll want to dive into the power settings, where you can adjust the TDP (Thermal Design Power) settings. Lowering the TDP can effectively reduce the voltage, achieving that sweet undervolt you're after. Just remember, go slow and test stability as you adjust!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
