To unequip the flashlight in Sons of the Forest, simply press the inventory button (usually 'I' on PC) and select another item to hold. Easy peasy!

Just switch to a different item in your inventory. The flashlight will automatically get unequipped. Happy exploring!

Switching tools does the trick! Equip a different weapon or item from your hotbar or inventory.
