To unequip your weapon in Fallout 4, just hold down the 'Reload' button (R on PC, Square on PS4, and X on Xbox One) for a few seconds. Your character will holster their weapon. Easy peasy, wasteland breezy!

Just tap-hold the reload button. Your gun goes bye-bye into your imaginary pocket.

I do this all the time when trying to look non-threatening to NPCs. Hold down the reload button (R, Square, X depending on your platform) and poof, weapon鈥檚 away. It鈥檚 also a nice touch for screenshots!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
