How to Uninstall Reshade From Fallout 4
SortyingSlag·7 months agoTo uninstall Reshade from Fallout 4, you gotta dive into the game's directory. Look for the folder where Fallout 4 is installed, then rummage around for Reshade files – these will be things like 'dxgi.dll,' 'Reshade.ini,' and anything that screams 'I'm part of Reshade!' Then, just delete those files. Boom, Reshade is gone, and Fallout 4 is back to its original glory.

I once had a nightmare where Reshade wouldn't leave Fallout 4 alone, kept making everything too shiny. I fixed it by manually removing 'dxgi.dll' and other Reshade files from the game's installation directory. It was like telling an unwanted guest to leave my game alone, and it worked! Fallout 4 was back to normal, and I could finally enjoy the wasteland without extra gloss.
Just delete 'dxgi.dll' and any Reshade-related files in your Fallout 4 folder. That's pretty much the whole process.
