To uninstall Reshade from Fallout 4, you gotta dive into the game's directory. Look for the folder where Fallout 4 is installed, then rummage around for Reshade files – these will be things like 'dxgi.dll,' 'Reshade.ini,' and anything that screams 'I'm part of Reshade!' Then, just delete those files. Boom, Reshade is gone, and Fallout 4 is back to its original glory.

I once had a nightmare where Reshade wouldn't leave Fallout 4 alone, kept making everything too shiny. I fixed it by manually removing 'dxgi.dll' and other Reshade files from the game's installation directory. It was like telling an unwanted guest to leave my game alone, and it worked! Fallout 4 was back to normal, and I could finally enjoy the wasteland without extra gloss.

Just delete 'dxgi.dll' and any Reshade-related files in your Fallout 4 folder. That's pretty much the whole process.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
