Uninstalling Steam on a Mac is pretty straightforward! First, quit Steam if it's open. Then, go to your 'Applications' folder in Finder, find the Steam app, and simply drag it to the Trash. Don't forget to empty the Trash to complete the uninstallation. But beware, this removes the app itself but not your games or saved data. If you wanna wipe everything clean, you'll need to manually delete the Steam folder found in ~/Library/Application Support/Steam.

Just drag it to the Trash, dude. Fastest uninstall in the West.

Yeah, stopping by to say dragging to Trash isn't enough if you're a real neat freak. You gotta clean out the leftovers in the Library folder, or it's like Steam never left. Found a ton of old game files there myself.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
