First off, make sure you've quit Steam completely. Then, open your Finder and head to the 'Applications' folder. Drag the Steam app to the Trash, or right-click (or Ctrl+click) and select 'Move to Trash'. To get rid of any leftover files, open Finder again, click 'Go' in the menu bar, press the 'Option' key, and select 'Library'. Navigate to 'Application Support' and delete the 'Steam' folder. Empty the Trash, and voila, Steam's gone!

Just drag Steam from your Applications folder to the Trash. Boom, done.

To really get rid of Steam, don鈥檛 forget to clear out the leftovers in Library > Application Support after trashing the app. I missed that the first time and couldn鈥檛 figure out why I was running out of space!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
