Okay, so you wanna get rid of Windows on your Steam Deck, right? First thing, you'll need to create a SteamOS recovery drive. You can grab the SteamOS image from the official Steam Deck support page. Flash it onto a USB drive using a tool like Rufus or BalenaEtcher. Power off your Deck, plug in the USB, and hold the volume down button as you power it back on. Choose to boot from the USB and follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall SteamOS. Voila, Windows is gone, and your Deck is back to its original state!

Simple answer? Just reinstall SteamOS. It'll wipe out Windows and restore your Deck to its gaming glory.

Windows on a Steam Deck is cool and all, but SteamOS is where it's at for the best gaming experience. I ditched Windows, followed the reinstall SteamOS method, and never looked back. Best decision ever!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
