Just a quick note, you can't unlink Steam directly if it's your only method of logging in. You'd need another platform linked or a different account to switch to. Learned that the hard way!

Unlinking your Steam account from Apex Legends isn't directly doable from within the game itself. What ya gotta do is head over to EA's website, log in with your EA account linked to your Steam. Go to the 'Connections' section under 'Account Settings', and you should see Steam there. Just click 'Unlink' beside it. Heads up, though, you might lose access to any exclusive items or progress you've made through that connection.

Honestly, why would you wanna unlink it? Having Steam linked makes everything smoother, IMO.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
