How to Unlock Characters in Super Smash Bros Brawl

Just keep fighting! Every 10 matches, a new challenger appears until you unlock them all. So, brawl on!
I unlocked most characters by completing specific challenges. Like, beat Classic mode with Mario to get Sonic.
Speedrun the Subspace Emissary; it's efficient and kinda epic. You’ll get most of the characters that way. Just keep an eye out for hidden doors!
You can unlock some characters quicker with cheat codes! (I'm kidding, don't do that. Just enjoy the game!)
