Cooking in Animal Crossing: New Horizons becomes available once you update to the 2.0 version. After you've updated, you'll get a visit from Franklin on Turkey Day (which is the game's version of Thanksgiving in November). He'll give you a quick intro to cooking. To really dive into it, you'll need to buy the Be a Chef! DIY Recipes+ from the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services for 2,000 Nook Miles. This unlocks the cooking recipes and lets you start cooking with your kitchenware!

Honestly, cooking's overrated. Just enjoy the island life and catch some bugs instead!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
