Easiest way? Adventure Mode. Just play through the World of Light and you'll unlock Diddy Kong as you progress.
I unlocked Diddy Kong by playing through Classic Mode. If you finish it with Donkey Kong, you'll eventually get the chance to unlock him.
Not digging Adventure Mode? Try Versus Mode matches. Diddy Kong usually pops up as an unlockable character after 240 battles!
Just use Donkey Kong in Classic Mode and keep playing鈥擠iddy Kong will show up for an unlock match.
