Hot take: Just grind levels and forget the chests. The gems are better used elsewhere in the game, IMO. Patience pays off when you're hatching dragons, not unlocking chests.

I opened a couple of these chests and, not gonna lie, it felt worth it. The dragons you get can really boost your game early on. Just make sure to balance your gem spending!
