Honestly, I think just playing and getting coins is way more fun than unlocking ghosts.
Personal experience here: I unlocked my ghost by playing Pac-Man and munching on ghosts during gameplay. Super easy and definitely keeps the game spooky-fun!
You can unlock the ghost characters in Crossy Road by playing as the character Pac-Man and then eating one of the four ghosts: Blinky, Pinky, Inky, or Clyde. Gobble them up and they'll be yours!
