You can unlock Greninja by playing through the Classic Mode with Yoshi, followed by Lucario, Marth, Ryu, Ganondorf, or Lucina! Alternatively, just keep playing the game and Greninja will eventually appear as a Challenger Approaching battle. Beat him to unlock!
Just keep playing! Greninja will pop up eventually as a challenger. Beat 'em, and he's yours!
Don't sweat it! Just keep on playing, and you'll run into Greninja as a challenger. Knock 'em out to unlock!
I unlocked Greninja by going through the Classic Mode route with Lucario. It worked like a charm and was super fun too!
