Quick heads up: You'll need to finish every level in Hero Mode with the weapon to make it available in multiplayer. So, say goodbye to some free time!
To unlock Hero Weapons in Splatoon 2, you gotta complete each level of Hero Mode with the weapon you wanna unlock. Basically, beat all the Octarians with the weapon and it'll be available for purchase at Ammo Knights!
Just finish all the single-player levels with the weapon you want. Easy peasy, get splatting!
