To unlock legacy boons in State of Decay 2, you complete the leader's final mission! Each type of leader (Builder, Sheriff, Warlord, and Trader) has their own unique legacy missions. Beat those and you'll unlock their respective boons for future playthroughs.

It’s all about finishing the leader’s legacy missions. Each leader type (Builder, Sheriff, Warlord, Trader) unlocks a different boon – just finish their storyline and you’re good to go!

I’ve done this myself – just finish the special missions for the leader you have. For example, if you have a Builder leader, complete all of their specific missions. This will unlock the Builder boon for future games.

Finish the campaign with a leader to unlock their boon. Simple as that.
