Rain isn’t playable in Mortal Kombat X. You can play as him in the story mode, but no such luck outside that.

Here's the scoop: Rain is unfortunately not a playable character in Mortal Kombat X on PS4. He's available as an opponent in Story Mode, but you can't unlock him for regular play. Bummer, I know!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Rain is not unlockable in Mortal Kombat X. If you wanna control him, you'll have to wait for Mortal Kombat 11.
