How to unlock red block in Super Mario 64 DS
To unlock the red blocks in Super Mario 64 DS, you need to find and press the red switch in the castle. Enter the level in the castle courtyard called 'Tower of the Wing Cap' by looking up into the beam of light in the main hall. Fly to the central tower, press the big red switch, and voila—red blocks unlocked!

Simply go to the castle courtyard and look up at the light shining down in the main castle hall. You'll be teleported to the level with the red switch—fly to it and activate it to unlock the red blocks.
