You can unlock Revenant Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat X by completing the Klassic Tower with Liu Kang. Finish the tower and voilà, you’ll have the revenant skin!

Honestly, just grind through the Story Mode. Once Liu Kang goes full zombie, the revenant skin unlocks itself. It's the adventure that counts!
