How to unlock Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 3
If you're playing the arcade version, you can't unlock Shao Kahn through normal gameplay. You'd need to access the game's service menu and enable a secret setting – easier said than done!

Sorry folks, Shao Kahn isn't unlockable in Mortal Kombat 3 without some serious hacking skills. Stick with the other awesome characters!
Back in the day, we had to use cheat codes to unlock Shao Kahn. Try holding Down + Start on Player 1's side and Up + Start on Player 2's side at the same time on the character select screen. Worked like a charm!
You can unlock Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 3 by using a special cheat code. At the character selection screen, press Down + Start on the Player 1 side and Up + Start on the Player 2 side simultaneously. Enjoy crushing your opponents!
