IMO you're not missing much until level 15. That's when the real fun starts with survival jobs. Lester calls, and you're good to go. Makes the grind worth it.

To unlock survival jobs in GTA 5, you need to hit level 15 first. Once you鈥檙e there, Lester will give you a call to let you know that survival mode is now available. After that call, you can access survival jobs from the Jobs list in the pause menu or find them scattered across the map, marked by a shield icon. Get ready for some intense shootouts to earn that cash!
