You can also check your headset's physical mute switch or in-line remote. Sometimes the mute is there, sneaky little devil!

Dude, just press the Xbox button, go to the party, and unmute. It's so simple.

FYI, you can see if your mic is muted by checking the mic icon on the party overlay. If there's a line through it, you know what to do.

First, press the Xbox button to open the guide, then navigate to 'Parties & chats'. Next, select your party and choose 'Unmute'. Easy peasy!

Had the same issue last week! Make sure your headset is properly connected. Sometimes the mic won't unmute if there's a connection problem.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
