To unprivate your Steam account, click on your profile name on the top right corner of the Steam client or webpage, then select 'View my profile'. Hit the 'Edit Profile' button on the right side, and look for the 'Privacy Settings' section. Here you can change your profile status to 'Public'. Don't forget to save your changes!
