Make sure your Xbox One is connected to the internet! Go to 'Settings' > 'System' > 'Updates' and check for any pending updates. It’s as easy as that.

Honestly, just leave your Xbox in instant-on mode. It should auto-update your games without any hassle. That’s the lazy way and it works!

Simply head to 'My games & apps', select 'Manage' and then 'Updates'. If updates are available, they'll show up here and can be installed with a click. Happy gaming!

First-hand experience here! I usually go to 'My games & apps', highlight the game, press the 'Menu' button, and choose 'Manage game & add-ons'. Then, hit 'Updates'. Done and done!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
