Literally just launch the game. It updates itself. Can't get simpler than that.

Had to learn this the hard way after missing out on some events, but yeah, the game does the heavy lifting for you. Open the launcher, and if there's an update, it'll let you know. Make sure you've got a stable internet connection, though. Nothing worse than an update stopping halfway through.
