How to update Palworld server using SteamCMD?
DisbowelingFeel路8 months agoUpdating your Palworld server with SteamCMD is easy! First, make sure SteamCMD is installed on your server. Then, open a command prompt or terminal and navigate to the SteamCMD directory. Once there, log in to your Steam account using 'login <yourusername>' (replace <yourusername> with your actual Steam username). After logging in, you'll need to use the command 'app_update 1234567' - replace 1234567 with the actual app ID for Palworld. It should check for updates and download them automatically. Remember to restart your server after the update is complete so the changes take effect!

Just use 'app_update' with the Palworld app ID in SteamCMD. Super simple.
Actually, I had to add the '+force_install_dir /your/palworld/server/folder' before the 'app_update' command to make it work right. Maybe it's just me, but you might want to try that if the straightforward update isn't applying.
