Download the update file from PlayStation's website and save it on a USB stick in PS3 > UPDATE. Plug it into your PS3, go to System Update, and select 'Update via Storage Media'.

Honestly, just make sure you format the USB to FAT32 and follow the folder structure exactly: PS3 > UPDATE. It should detect the update file when you go to System Update > Update via Storage Media on your PS3.

First, download the latest PS3 firmware update from the official PlayStation website. Save it to a USB drive in a folder named 'PS3' and a subfolder named 'UPDATE'. Then, plug the USB into your PS3, go to Settings > System Update > Update via Storage Media, and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
