Simple! Insert the PS4 disc (if you have one), find the upgrade in the PS Store, then download.
You need the PS4 disc of FF7 Remake, a PS5 with a disc drive, and then download the free upgrade from the PS Store. Enjoy the better graphics and load times!
I upgraded my FF7 Remake by downloading the free upgrade from the PS Store after inserting my PS4 disc into my PS5. It was super smooth and totally worth it!
