To upgrade Starfield while using Game Pass, check for any available DLCs or expansion packs in the Microsoft Store and purchase them. Unfortunately, Game Pass doesn't automatically include DLCs, so you'll need to get them separately.

When I wanted to upgrade Starfield with Game Pass, I looked for DLCs in the Xbox app, bought them, and they seamlessly integrated with my game.
