You can't upload PDFs directly to your personal timeline, but you can include the PDF in a post by first uploading it to a site like Google Drive, then sharing the link in your post.
I've done it by just uploading my PDF to Dropbox first. Then, I shared the Dropbox link in my Facebook post. Worked like a charm!
FB doesn't have a direct PDF upload for personal profiles. You might want to convert it to images or share a link instead.
