How to Use a Bed in Terraria
To use a bed in Terraria, it's simple: Place the bed in a valid room (think light, walls, door, and furniture), and right-click or tap on it. Bam! Your spawn point is set. Remember, you can't set a new spawn point during boss fights or events because that would be too easy.

First thing's first, ya gotta make sure that room of yours is up to snuff for a bed to even work. That means walls, a door, a light source, and enough space. Craft or find yourself a bed, plonk it down in your snazzy room, and right-click or tap on it (depending on your device) to set your spawn point. Now, every time you bite the dust, you'll respawn right there instead of where you first started.
