You basically double-tap the jump button when mid-air. There, now you can fly like a space eagle.
Make sure you've got your boost pack equipped and enough fuel, then hit the jump button mid-air to take off. It's that easy!
My advice, from personal experience: equip the pack, jump, and then press the boost button. Watch yourself soar through the cosmos! It feels amazing!
