Firing a cannon? Easy peasy. Buy it, place it, load it with cannonballs, and click to shoot. Just don't blow yourself up, alright?

Honestly, cannons are overrated. Just use a good ol' sword and magic. Much simpler, and no need to aim!

Using a cannon in Terraria is more fun than a goblin party on a pirate ship! First off, make sure you've got yourself a cannon. You can buy one from the Pirate NPC after defeating the Pirate Invasion event. Once you've got it, just place it down on a solid surface. Now, for the ammo - you'll need cannonballs, which you can also buy from the Pirate. To fire, just stand behind the cannon, aim with your cursor, and click! Remember, where you aim that cursor is where the cannonball goes, so aim carefully or you'll be redecorating your base in 'explosive chic'.
