Start by connecting your PS3 to the capture card using HDMI cables. Then, connect the capture card to your PC via USB. Use software like OBS to record or stream your gameplay. It's pretty straightforward once you get all the cables sorted!

You'll need an HDMI splitter to bypass the PS3's HDCP encryption. Connect your PS3 to the HDMI splitter, then the splitter to the capture card, and finally, the capture card to your PC. Voila, you're good to go!

Honestly, just use a PS4 or PS5 for easier recording options. They have built-in streaming features.

I tried recording with a capture card on my PS3, and an HDMI splitter did the trick. Just don't forget to configure your recording software correctly!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
