First, connect your PS3 controller to your PC using a USB cable. Then, download and install the SCP Driver Package. Finally, open Steam, go to 'Settings,' then 'Controller,' and set up your PS3 controller from there.

Honestly, use a DualShock 4 instead. It's much easier to set up and more compatible with modern games.
