You can use a PS5 controller on a PS4, but it's a bit tricky. You'll need to use Remote Play on a PC or smartphone and connect the PS5 controller to that device, then stream the PS4 games. It's not an official method, but it works!

I tried to use my PS5 controller on my PS4. While it technically worked using Remote Play, it was so laggy it wasn't worth it. Just stick to the DualShock 4.
