Tried using the Solar Tablet at night by accident and absolutely nothing happened. Can confirm, it's a daytime only affair, and make sure you're ready for a battle!
Easy peasy! Just make sure you're in a Hardmode world and it's daytime. Open your inventory, find that shiny Solar Tablet, and then simply left-click to activate it. Boom, you've got yourself a Solar Eclipse event. Just a heads up, things are about to get pretty intense with all the monsters that show up, so gear up!
