How to Use a USB Flash Drive on PS3
Plug your USB flash drive into one of the USB ports on the front of your PS3. Go to the XMB (cross-media bar) and navigate to the relevant section (Music, Video, Photos) to find your content. Press the triangle button and select 'Display All' if your files aren't showing!

In my experience, some PS3 models can be picky with USB formats. Make sure your drive is formatted to FAT32 for the best results!
