You can use an Xbox One controller on a PS3 by connecting it via a USB cable. Just plug it in, and the PS3 should recognize it! Note that some functions might not work as well as they do on a PS4 or PS5 controller.

First-hand experience here! I connected my Xbox One controller to my PS3 using a USB cable. It worked pretty seamlessly for most games. Just don't expect the home button to do much.

For a wireless setup, try a Bluetooth adapter compatible with both the Xbox One controller and PS3. Google around for the best options!
