How to Use AAM in War Thunder
To use air-to-air missiles (AAM) in War Thunder, equip an aircraft that has AAM capabilities. Once in the game, select the missile by pressing the key you have it mapped to (usually 2 or 3). Lock onto an enemy target by holding the appropriate button, then launch the missile when you have a solid lock. Happy hunting!

First, make sure you're flying a jet that supports AAMs. Next, select your missile (typically with the 2 or 3 key), lock onto an enemy, and fire when ready. Boom!
In my experience, you gotta get a good lock first. Use R key to switch to AAMs, then T to lock onto a target, and finally hit the fire button. Watch that rocket fly!
