How to Use AirPods on PS5
You can't directly pair AirPods with a PS5 because the console doesn't support Bluetooth audio devices. However, you can use a Bluetooth adapter that connects to your controller's 3.5mm jack or the USB port on the console. I use the Avantree Leaf adapter, and it works like a charm!

I tried using my AirPods on my PS5 without an adapter and failed miserably. Just pick up a Bluetooth USB adapter and save yourself the headache.
PS5 doesn't support Bluetooth audio through its standard settings. You'll need a Bluetooth transmitter to make it work with your AirPods.
It's simple: grab a Bluetooth adapter. I use one that plugs into the USB port of my PS5, and it pairs with my AirPods easily. Problem solved!
