So, you wanna use amiibo in AC, huh? Just hit up that Nook Stop in Resident Services, tap 'Invite a Camper', and slap that amiibo right onto the NFC spot on your Joy-Con. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I tried using an amiibo and nothing happened. Make sure your game's updated or that amiibo might just be a fancy coaster.

Using amiibo in Animal Crossing on the Switch is super easy and adds a ton of fun to your island life! First, make sure you're at a point in the game where you can use the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services. Then, choose the 'Invite a Camper' option. When prompted, just hold your amiibo or amiibo card to the NFC touchpoint on the right Joy-Con or the Pro Controller. Boom! Your chosen character will pop up in no time!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
