How to Use an External Hard Drive on a PS4
RequestingFinal路7 months agoPlug your external hard drive into one of the USB ports on your PS4. Go to Settings > Devices > USB Storage Devices, select your hard drive, and choose Format as Extended Storage. Boom, now you have more space for all those epic games!

First, connect the hard drive to your PS4's USB port. Then go to Settings > Devices > USB Storage Devices. Select the hard drive and format it. Easy peasy.
Just connect it and format it via Settings > Devices > USB Storage Devices. Done.
As someone who expanded their storage: Plug it in, head to Settings > Devices > USB Storage Devices, then format. You'll wonder how you ever lived without the extra space.
