AR mode is kinda overrated. Just turn it on by hitting the AR button during a Pokemon encounter, but it drains your battery fast.
Using AR in Pokemon GO is simple: when in a Pokemon encounter, tap the AR button in the corner. Make sure you have a flat surface nearby鈥攊t helps the Pokemon appear more realistically.
Swipe that AR toggle on when you're battling Pokemon, but be warned: it's a battery hog! Personal experience, my phone couldn鈥檛 handle a full day of AR hunting.
