Just slap those Energy Cards on your Pokemon and announce your attack, easy! But remember, some attacks might need specific Energy types, so match 'em up right.

To use attacks in the Pokemon TCG, first, make sure the Pokemon you want to attack with is your Active Pokemon, not on your Bench. Then, look at the card to see what attacks it has and the Energy cost for each attack. Attach the required type and amount of Energy Cards from your hand to your Pokemon. Once you've met the Energy cost, declare which attack you're using on your opponent's Active Pokemon. Some attacks have additional effects or conditions, so be sure to read the attack descriptions carefully!

Honestly, it's all about having enough Energy Cards. No energy, no attack. Simple as that.

All these strategies but sometimes it just comes down to who has the stronger Pokemon and the better Energy cards setup. Attacks are important, but so is building a good deck.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
